See ya 2010, it’s been fun but I’ve got a new year to conquer!
Looking back on 2010 I am exhausted. I did a lot! I had so many fantastic opportunities and accomplished so much. Here is a quick breakdown:
- Lost 107 pounds and reached LIFETIME at weight watchers
- On the cover of WW Weekly
- Featured in my local newspaper!
- Made a ton of new friends
- Participated in 23 races (ran 22, volunteered at 1)
- Ran 3 half marathons. PR’d at the Disney Princess
- Ran a 3 person relay Marathon with 2 fantastic bloggers
- Did the NY Ragnar Relay and had an amazing time
- Won the Progresso Souper You contest & had a makeover!!
- Started working for weight watchers
- Reached a new 5k PR (28:23)
- Came in 3rd place in my age group!
- Mentored at the No Boundaries Program
- RAN MY FIRST MARATHON!!
I ran 875.13 miles in 2010! My goal was 1000 miles for the year but I’ll gladly take 875. For reference I ran less then 600 miles in 2009.
I cannot wait to see what 2011 has to offer me!
